Preatoni Investments Eco-tourism in the area of Chott-Zouarâa
The Milanese group Preatoni (Preatoni Investments )has just completed the administrative procedures concerning the mega-project (22 EUR billions) about conducting an ecological tourist zone in Chott Zouarâa located in the north-west of Tunisia.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and international cooperation, this project will start during the second quarter of 2009.
The project involves the establishment of residences, hotels, gas stations, resorts, leisure centers and a marina, as well as the preservation of some endangered animals. The entire project, which will be enrolled in the high range and respect to the cultural values related the region, will eventually contribute to the promotion and development of eco-tourism in the region .
It is important to recall that President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received Mr. Ernesto Preatoni, on 3 November 2007 , this latter was back in Tunis on November 2008 and has discussed all the specifics related to the mega - ecological tourism project.

Il gruppo italiano Preatoni sta per avviare i lavori per la costruzione di un grande complesso turistico a Chatt Zouaraa, nel nord-ovest della Tunisia.
La nuova struttura comprendera' una marina, appartamenti residenziali,alberghi e infrastrutture balneari. Prevista inoltre la sistemazione di una vasta riserva naturale. Il costo totale delle opere sara' di 25 milioni di euro.

Un méga projet Écotourisme italien
Le méga projet italien en Tunisie, d’un coût de 22 milliards d’euros démarre cette année. Lancé par le groupe italien Preatoni, ce projet porte sur la mise en place de résidences, d'hôtels, de stations balnéaires, de centres de loisirs et d'une marina, ainsi que l'aménagement d'une réserve pour certaines espèces animales. L’ensemble du projet, qui sera inscrit dans le haut de gamme, respectera et valorisera les spécificités de la région où il sera érigé.
Selon des informations non confirmées, le projet sera érigé du côté de Bizerte. De source officielle, on ne précise pas exactement l’emplacement et on dont seulement qu’il sera au Nord de la Tunisie.
Dans une interview accordée à nos confrères de l’Observateur, M. Ernesto Preatoni, président du groupe italien, a déclaré que le projet va démarrer cette année et que l’ensemble des travaux vont durer 12 ans. « Il va totalement changer l’image touristique de la Tunisie », a déclaré M. Preatoni.
A rappeler que le Président Zine El Abidine Ben Ali a reçu le 3 novembre dernier M. Ernesto Preatoni, et a pris connaissance de l’ensemble de ce méga projet de tourisme écologique qui devrait créer près de 30.000 postes d'emploi.
