MBA - New Markets & Europe

The MBA offers participants from the BRIC area (Brazil, Russia, India, China) as well as Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and Mediterranean Basin, including Italy, the unique opportunity to study in close contact with Italian and European companies interested in doing business in their countries of origin. Participants will gain the skills, knowledge and first hand experience that will make them ideal management candidates for those companies.

European and Italian companies interested in New Markets are directly involved in the planning, design and management of this course, thus enabling the MBA to offer concrete opportunities for internship and job placement.

As I have been evolving myself in capacity-building efforts through conferences, workshops, studies tours and networking events in order to better acquaint myself with best practices & to boost my performance in an increasingly sophisticated business taking place in a global scenario. Within this process I choose to apply for this MBA because of its declared international outlook which insures top-class support in a richly multicultural perspective that represents the concrete realization of the management of diversity that aims to form leaders for sustainable business development. This program is tailored for professional who want to be protagonist in a rapidly which perfectly corresponds to my ambition.

I firmly believe in the effectiveness of networks as a spring of fresh ideas. I conceptualize Knowledge as a building fabricated and erected through the accumulation of Human experiences. It is futile to reinvent the wheel each time; nevertheless, it is useless to confine this heritage of humanity only to proven and familiar approaches without actualizing, adapting and improving them. I want to act strategically as to take advantages of new technologies and ideas. Improving my own skills tantamount to optimize my resources which will allow me to jump on the trampoline of creativeness whereby originating and working upon new ideas and concepts in order to produce potential opportunities and innovative approaches. Thus, to be in the heart of a creative entrepreneurial environment is extremely attractive opportunity for me.

These were the reasons behind my interests to join the course launched by the Euro-Mediterranean School: "Introduction to entrepreneurship" http://www.univiu.org/research/icesd/euromediterraneanschool/ ; furthermore, these interests are definitely duplicated as this course offers a fertile cross-cultural environment. Beyond my concern of the significance of this course, the challenging initiative to exchange ideas with people animated by the spirit of creation and entrepreneurship coming from different backgrounds is in effect prolifically resourceful. A cross partnership and business affinities are expectedly and highly credible particularly for me who target to create a global communication agency, which activities are likely to interact with almost all businesses.
To create a dynamic of exchanges and relationships that grant access to relational networks mainly in technology, management, financing and psychological support from valuable specialists, is one of the outcome of such initiative.

The course, with restricted admission, is directed to 40 young graduates (30 from the ten extra-European Mediterranean countries); the aim of this course is to train young graduates who are motivated to pursue managerial and entrepreneurial activities involving all sides of the Mediterranean Sea.

As the final stage of the Euro-Mediterranean School' course "Introduction to entrepreneurship", I participated to an internship within the CDO http://www.cdo.it/ (Compagnia Delle Opere) which is an Italian entrepreneurial association with 42 offices throughout Italy which to date covers 35 000 mainly Small and Medium sized Enterprises. CDO also has several offices abroad in more than 12 countries.
The association promotes and expresses entrepreneurial culture. It supports the realization of entrepreneurial initiatives, both in terms of profit and non profit.
It also promotes and maintains steady relations with both national (Italian) and international institutions in order to support enterprise development.
I have been also introduced to another dynamic structure which is Promos www.promos-milano.it ; the Specialized Company of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan which is dedicated to the international activities of the Milanese SME.

Il Centro svolge e promuove attività di formazione e di ricerca; approfondisce lo studio e la valutazione del principio di sussidiarietà e del capitale umano; sviluppa e realizza programmi di scambio, di formazione e di tutoring, tesi a favorire la diffusione ed il sostegno alla cooperazione internazionale, con particolare riferimento ai Paesi del Mediterraneo e dell'Est Europeo. Il corso intende formare giovani laureati motivati ad impegnarsi in attività manageriali e imprenditoriali che coinvolgano le diverse sponde del Mediterraneo.

in termine alla corso della Scuola Euromediterranea "Introduzione all’imprenditorialità" ho svolto un tirocinio presso la CDO (Compagnia Delle Opere) chè un'associazione imprenditoriale presente in italia con 42 sedi, che associa ad oggi oltre 35 000 imprese, la maggioranza delle quali sono piccole e medie aziende. CDO ha anche diverse sedi estere più di 12 paesi.

CDO è un'associazione non lucrativa che intende promuovere lo spirito di mutua collaborazione e assistenza tra i soci, per una migliore valorizzazione delle risorse umane ed economiche, nell'ambito di ogni attività esercitata sotto forma di impresa, sia profit sia non profit.

" EDP - Entrepreneurship Development Programme "

Dans le cadre de son mandat de soutien à la création d'entreprise, l'Unité pour la promotion des investissements de ONUDI à Tunis (UPI ONUDI) a promu l'introduction en Tunisie du modèle " EDP - Entrepreneurship Development Programme " développé par l'Arab Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investment Training (ARCEIT - www.arceit.org) du Bureau des Investissements de l'ONUDI au Bahreïn et qui a déjà été mis en place dans la région du Moyen0orient (Bahreïn, Jordanie, Arabie Saoudite, Kuwait, Emirats Arabes Unis).

L'action vise à l'introduction en Tunisie de l'approche de formation pour la création de nouveaux promoteurs ainsi que la création d'une plateforme en vue de sa diffusion dans les autres pays du Maghreb ainsi que dans certains pays de l'Afrique francophone.

En effet, depuis sa première initiative, l'ONUDI/ITPO ARCEIT a déjà réalisé 18 programmes de formation au Bahreïn, outre les précédentes sessions qui ont eu lieu à Abou Dhabi (Emirats Arabes Unis) et à Riadh (Arabie Saoudite), au bénéfice d'une centaine de participants. Le PDE est une aide à la création d'entreprise qui est axée sur des notions fondamentales, à savoir :

* Comment créer sa propre entreprise ;
* Comment identifier une opportunité d'affaires ;
* Comment cerner le potentiel du marché ;
* Comment développer ses capacités entreprenariales ;
* Comment développer un business plan ;
* Comment gérer son entreprise;
* Comment implémenter un nouveau projet

Les étapes suivantes du programme prévoient la formation collective, la formation et le développement des capacités, les conseils et la recherche de liaisons technologiques et financières, jusqu'à l'assistance à l'incubation et à la recherche de partenaires et de marchés à l'étranger.

J ai participè à la première session du PDE conduite à l'intention des futurs entrepreneurs et qui s'est déroulée du 9 janvier au 2 février 2007 auprès du siège de l'IACE (Institut Arabe des Chefs d'Entreprises). Ce premier groupe, composé de 15 jeunes créateurs ayant un diplôme de maîtrise ou plus, a été sélectionné après un test d'évaluation auquel 45 candidats (analyse de la personnalité du jeune dirigeant pour mesurer son degré de volonté et de motivation et sa capacité à lancer un projet) ont été soumis.

A la fin de cette session, des rencontres ont eu lieu avec les organismes de financement (BFPME , BTS, BT, BIAT et Sicar ZARIAT), essentiellement pour vérifier l'état des projets présentés par les candidats en vue de leur financement éventuel à la fin du parcours complet de formation, lequel inclura également un volet " business counseling " pour le développement des plans d'affaires et pour la mise en place d'une stratégie globale de réussite du projet.

A l'occasion de la fin de la session de formation des entrepreneurs et créateurs, une cérémonie de remise des diplômes s'est déroulée le 19 février 2007 dans un hôtel de la Capitale en présence du Prince Talal Ibn Abdelaziz, Président du Conseil d'Administration de CAWTAR (Centre des Femmes Arabes pour la Formation et la Recherche) et Président du Programme du Golfe Arabe pour le soutien des organisations onusiennes de développement, ainsi que des représentants de tous les partenaires - CJD, UPI ONUDI, ARCEIT Bahreïn, API, CNFCE - et des représentants de plusieurs organismes financiers.
